Opening view (1 Viewer)

Hi,

MyFilms is opening always in the same view, showing me a menu list with "Films, Year, ...". However, I would like to start it in cover view, but it forgets the setting upon each new start. Is this the normal behavior and what can i do to have myFilms open every time with the same (configureable) view?

Hi,
Description about view definitions in setup you fine here. They also can be changed within the GUI and saved - so setup is mostly not needed.
However, I assume, you're taliking about the "Menu-view" and there about the "Layout" - indeed, the Menu is always set to list view - all "real views" can have a layout defined and it should be stored and restored upon restart too. So either you change to a movie or grouped view, defining the respective Layout (and choose the view via left menu) - or you might post a request on the bug tracker to add a layout setting for the menu.
