plse help. hibernation issue/bug (1 Viewer)

hi there.

i don t know what it is, but if have this issue:

if i shedule records and set mp to hibernation-mode, it wakes up and records the shedule, but then, it dosn t goes in hibernation mode again, it just stays on.

i am using a newer svn. but also with others svn`s, i have had the same proplem;(

i really hopeing that anyone can help me.

my logs are attached. (thats are all logs i have)

Have you enabled the powerschedular plugin and conifigured it in the SETUPTV.

Also i fyou have MP GUI running you must also make sure the correct powerschedular-client is configured in MP config

in tv3 i have powersheduler plugin enabled. yes.

in mpsetup, i have enabled power sheduler client plugin.

Hi Parkhur,

You would have to supply the TVServer log as well. This is where the hibernate/resume is initiated.

Run C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal MPTestTool2.exe

This will colate all the necessary logs to one easy file.

parkuhr, do you have a mouse connected to the comp, if so try to remove it & test again...

Btw, your logs doesn't tell anything, try to schedule a rec -> let it hib -> let it wake up again & do the rec -> wait 10 mins to see if it hibs(or more depends on your timeout settings) -> if it doesn't collect all logs & attach them to your post again.

One other thing to keep in mind is that not to hibernate your PC (when you go to bed) with a TV channel playing in Mediaportal. The TVServer can think that the PC is active so it won't hibernate. I leave MP on the main menu when I go to bed (hit 'b' to be sure no TV is active).
