[Plugin] Sense 0.2 Alpha (control MediaPortal using Kinect) (1 Viewer)

i'm currently rebuilding and installing my new dev system so it might take some more days before i can have the new plugin ready. I will rename it to MP Kinect (because it will initially target just Kinect devices) and i will carry over some existing 0.2 functionality for starters. Goal in the long run is to make the controls as subtle as possible (also throwing in voice commands) and to bring real additional value at controlling MP (next to using your phone or remote control). Parallel to development for MP1 i will develop for MP2 as well (but MP1 has priority for now).

This project is on the shelf, awaiting MediaPortal to gain .net 4 compatibility.
It will be less work to add Kinect support after that.

Interesting stuff! I might be adding support for Kinect 2.0 to MP1 at some point.

Since you guys were into Kinect, you may find interesting that I've added Kinect voice control support to CIC.
I'm hopeful I should be able to provide direct TV channel switching through Kinect voice control at some point.
