proper blue-ray support (1 Viewer)

is there going to be some proper blue ray support at some stage, with proper menus? Its a major shortfall of media portal, the media center that can't play blue rays. I know it sort of can in an ugly workaround sort of way but not in a real way like with the menus as the publishers intended.

There IS proper Blu-ray support in MediaPortal, just not for BDJ discs (yet).

that's what I mean, BDJ is a vital part, though I haven't tried all that many disks I don't think I've ever come across one that didn't have a BDJ menu system

do MP uses libbluray? if yes - then it got a major update last year, enabling BD-J functionality. I have neither BD drive nor BDs itself, so cannot test if just dll update will help...

I think someone needs to adapt these changed to MP but tourrettes has gone

Yes, but looks like mostly old ones and probably not with bd+. Also you need aacs config with keys which you could find yourself in inet

Tourettes is working on BD-J, we use it in my own build and most of BD-J works but there is some bug sometimes.
Thanks to him for that
