I want first to say I tried many programs, on Linux and Windows. Media portal is really the best I tested. I really like it.
Now...my problem.
I am using an IBM Thinkpad.
Here is my config:
Area: Media Portal Program
MP Version: 0.2.0.0 RC2 from 2006/03/04
Skin: Blue two
Windows Version: XP SP2
CPU Type: Intel P4 2Ghz
Memory: 512 Mb
Motherboard Chipset: IBM
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 7500
Video Card Driver: ?
Video Card Resolution: 800x600
Video Render Type: VMR9
Video Codec Type & Version: Mpeg2 Dec filter
Audio Codec Type & Version: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPMC
TV Card: Hauppauge WinTv USB2
TV Card Type: PVR
TV Card Driver: 2.2.73.23178
All is working fine expect the TV and the Radio.
When I select a readio channel I get 2 seconds of sound and after it stop.
When I select a TV channel I get the same for the sound and I get only 1 TV frame per second.
Please note.
The TV and radio are working fine with Hauppauge program.
I tried many codec and it seams to not change anything.
Shout cast radio and "My movies" are working fine.
The more stange thing is if I start and stop many time the live TV I somtimes (1/10) get a correct picture, but still no sound.
For me it looks to be a communication problem between MP and the TV card as all module are working fine until it not needs to get data from the TV card.
