Is it possible to set a recording on a channel by using a time from to?

For instance there is a broadcast that is all afternoon long and I do not want to record the whole program. What I would like to do is record from say 17:10 to 17:40. Can I somewhere set to record on a specific channel based upon the those times?

I can see I can record now and I can do a manual stop or record the whole program or record to program end.....

Yep.
Open MP.
Go to the "scheduled" section within the TV section (ie. the place where all your schedules are listed).
Select "new" from the menu to create a new schedule.
Select "quick record" from the menu, and then follow the prompts.
