Hi, I have the 'Autostart MePo on Windows Startup' option selected which, in normal use, works as expected.

However, if I Remote Desktop to the HTPC (using a different user) it starts to load MePo again for that user. I then have wait for the splash screen to appear and then kill it with task manager.

Is there any way to stop my remote desktop user from having it loaded upon login?

You might do this by using a different user for remote desktop, because the settting is user specific. If that's not an option for you, it is necessary to add another setting to MediaPortal that prevents loading on remote desktop.

If you are using MediaPortal 1.10 you could extract the 2 files in the ZIP and replace your original MediaPortal files. Don't forget to backup the original files, to be able to restore them in case of problems.

If you open the Configuration you will find a new setting:

I couldn't test it, as my MePo PC is used at the moment, and testing Remote Desktop with one PC is not that easy.
Will test it in the evening.

Update: Was able to test it. Works as it should. :)
