[skin update] "theatre" simple to use and nice to view (2 Viewers)

I am rather proud to release my first complete skin to the public today.

Theatre is a beta version and I want you to test it extensively and give me some feedback. I have worked a few months in my spare time on this project. The skin is developed on Win XP with mediaportal and tv-server 1.0.2.0 and tested on XP and vista. The resolution is 1280x720 and scales fine to full HD (as i can tell for myself).

Theatre is designed to be easy to use and to look simply good. It is designed to be controlled primarily with a remote or a keyboard, but not with a mouse. I have deleted a lot of buttons, controls and infos to totally simplify the look and feel of mediaportal.

Installation:
- unzip the file "theater08.zip"
- copy the folder "theatre" to your skin folder (usually [your drive]:\[your programs folder]\MediaPortal\skin\)
- make a backup of [your drive]:\[your programs folder]MediaPortal\weather\128x128
- copy the folder 128x128 to this location: [your drive]:\[your programs folder]MediaPortal\weather\
- install the font from the zipfile.

Features:
- simple and sleek interface
- fullscreen weather images
- original sounds

Known bugs:
- Only TV server supported - "old" TV Engine may run not as expected
- Tv-series Playlist isn´t working
- My Weather: Menu disappears when switching to satellite-view. if somebody know why this happens, please tell me.

"theatre" currently supports:
- all standard plugins in MP 1.0.2.0 (if i don´t have missed some)
- moving pictures (verison 0.7.2.545)
- tv-series (version 2.2.3389)
- online videos (version 0.9.2.0)

Planned:
- 4 Theme-colors to choose from
- Basichome Menu-Editor (thanks Kyleh000)
- More Plugins (suggestions?)
- Installer
- a few graphic-tweaks

I hope you like "theatre" and give me some feedback, bugreports and "wishes" for new plugins in future versions.

P.S.: for all who don´t like dark skins, it may be that i will make a white version next... some time... maybe.

Thanks to the creators of Aeon (not shure who it is, psycho reptile?). I used your basichome.xml as a base for my new basichome. I hope this is OK. If not, let me know...

instead of saying "dark skin", i prefer the technically accurate term of "high contrast".
"high contrast" is actually much easier on the eyes once you get used to it.

where/how did you get all the band art with the awesome transparency?
i'd like to see some screens with the video overlay.
the only issue i can see with your skin is that the video overlay would cover other elements, particularly with all the details on 'Moving Pictures'.
so you might consider some minor re-design to make room for the video overlay somewhere.

The bandart comes from the artist cache folder. You´ll have to keep your tags clean and maybe load missing artist thumbs with last.fm plugin.

Yes you are right. I thought about that myself. I think i will make them bigger in the next version...

Cool... "High Contrast" sounds much better... yeah!

Video and music overly don´t cover any other infos. As for the Detailview in Movingpictures you could be right. I will have a look at it, thanks. I will post tonight a few screens with the overlays, so you can see for yourself.

this skin looks great. I tested it and confirm, "my recordings" isnt working on my Vista-based HTPC. Thats not a critic, just info for you.
Go on with this fantastic work, think a lot of people will love it.

The Covers in MyVideo could be bigger.
