Bug in MP 1.1.2?

Hello,

I just installed the plugin and configured it according to the manual.
Then I started MP and the picture below (see attachment) was waiting for me.
Is it just incompatible with MP 1.1.2 or is there another reason for looking like that?

great plugin, but I'm using StreamedMP and MP 1.2 and for me the official skin doesn't work, so I modified the latest Blue3 skin to look like the official StreamedMP one.

Have fun with it!

But I have a little problem:

On Yahoo, the German X-Dax is called D1AR.DE. The problem is, although it is an index, it has the location "DE" so that it is not possible to show the X-Dax on the indices site, only on the fund or stocks site.

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?

Stocks & Indices plugin for MediaPortal v0.6.0 and MP 1.2 Alpha

Dear all,
after a long time of absence it is time to support this community again with plugin updates and new plugin solutions.
For all users, which has problems using this plugin under MediaPortal v1.2 alpha, please download an updated version from the plugin section. This update is compiled against SVN 27546, a installer file will be published in time with the next official release.


fischy667: to solve your problem, some code changes are required. I hope, I can distribute a solution in the next few days.

there is a solution for your problem.

On Yahoo, the German X-Dax is called D1AR.DE. The problem is, although it is an index, it has the location "DE" so that it is not possible to show the X-Dax on the indices site, only on the fund or stocks site.

Normally, this plugin tries to auto complete the symbols. If you want to override this, please mask your symbol in the configuration dialog with apostrophes, e.g. 'D1AR.DE'.

Please download the latest version for MediaPortal 1.2 SVN 27546 from the plugin section and install it manually.

your installed mediaportal version is v1.1.5, the update of the plugin requries v1.1.6 SVN 27546 or later. Please try it again after upgrading your MediaPortal version.

With MP v1.1.6 SVN 27566 the plugin and your solution with quotes are working.

i wanted to update to the latest version (0.6.0)
so i downloaded the lastest version from the plugins section.
but this is a zip file and i have no idea where to install all these files.

Problem with DowJones data and Stocks & Indices 0.6 :

MediaPortal.log:
"Stocks: Error reading finance data informations. Status code: DOWNLOAD - ^DJI."
All other indices are ok.
