I actually want to run this on another machine that has no net connection. I was just trying it out to see what the install looked like.
I downloaded MediaPortalSetup_1.1.2.exe and ran it. All that happened was a cmd box opening and a stream of data showing in it. The cmd box then closed and there was no further activity. There were no messages or errors.
So I have not been able to try any setup, or use any of the download toolbox etc.
Any help greatly appreciated.

hmmm...ok...weird...somehow my firewall had been shut down (and I am a little worried about that). When I rebooted the PC and the FW was again brought up, the MP install worked.
