TV Setup

I just installed Media Portal and got My Movies and My TV Series setup and working well. I am just wondering if there is a guide to setup TV. What plugins do I need to use. I am currently using a Hauppauge WinTv-HVR-1600 with Charter Cable Service in the US. I currently have a Scientific Atlantic Explorer 3200 Cable box and have no idea how to setup the irBlaster to work properly.
