What video codec settings are you using in your system. I am suffering from the same problem as the people above and want to see if it is codec pr renderer related.
After quite some testing, I found out that a lot of video's DO play, but a lot of video's don't either. Error message pops up: "Can't play video (Videoplayback?)"
At first I thought it was not caused by YouTubeFM because a lot of material cannot be played because of certain rights, but this error message occurs more often than in previous versions. But as I said, a lot of video's here play flawlessly. Am I the only one?
Codec settings: default installation of Alpha with LAV video and audio codecs, BUT default directsound audio device. (NOT MP audio renderer) The system is hooked to an amplifier with optical sp/dif cable. Cannot provide log files, because I am testing this alpha remotely on the system of a friend. Hope this is of any help?
