I guess you could set up a proxy... it would receive V1 requests from the plugin and convert them to V4, retrieve the information, and send it back...

Is there a valid 'work around' anywhere [as API V4 change finally bitten me] - updating the database in the background is option - I have python script to pull episode/full series into XML sand...

Both are better :) Or rather, take your pick.
