mp1.15 not restarting

Hi I'm running MP1.15 on Windows Vista SP1. Sometimes after watching a video I go to click on another video in my list. I can hear the audio but the video stays on the programme list. After a while MP stops and I can't close it. What I can't understand is that MP is set to restart after a crash...
