    mmh.. try this:

    go to ...Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\BlueTwo\

and delete the packedgfx2.bxml as well as the packedgfx20.png and packedgfx21.png

    and try it again.

if there is more, just delete eveything called pakedgfx.....

hmm havent got any of the mentioned files any where under the media portal directory.. I also tried the razor skin

Thats weired. Try also deleting the \fonts\ directory:
    Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\BlueTwo\fonts\

    ARGH!
tried the reduce agp aperture didnt work
I asked IF you reduced it.. Not TO decrease it..

The updater simply does not contain any changes for your system which could lead to this error...

    Code:
D3D: InitializeDeviceObjects - Exception: System.OutOfMemoryException: Out of memory.
What did you do before applying the update?
Did you restart the machine to get "wasted" memory of another app back? Any 3rd-party-plugins installed?

Hehe, never mind then. Did restart (when installed new driver version and dx9 after the error occured).
