No animosity intended, such is the nature of text only communication, and my lack of vocabulary. I completely understand. I looked at your earlier posts and could not for the life of me come up with any solution, because, as mentioned before, the details were beyond my knowledge.

I've also tolerated many deficiencies in MP, although more gladly than you, with the hope of it's improving, or of my set-up becoming more "MP friendly" ... all with the realization that MP is still my best option for my media center, with all its faults. There seems to be as many variables as users. I just conclude there are some things I will never fathom.

The search function is equally my friend, and foe.

And yes.. if that is what it takes. keep bumping... it is equally as likely that your set-up is unique and there is no-one who can help.

Cut the language please - some here in the UK have respect for others point of view, even if it's not popular or agreed with.
It's kinda ironic that this thread has so many replies...

To the OP - there are people here (donaters and otherwise) who will help you freely, if the issue is within their sphere of knowledge.
Personally I fall into the "teach a man to fish" camp and will point people to the correct solution IF I KNOW ONE.
This will of course, be greatly helped IF SOMEONE IS WILLING TO HELP THEMSELVES. Entering your system specs is the first step.

So - I deleted some (really useless) posts, and everyone is asked to take a deep breath - or a chill pill - whatever works best :).

Please remember forum rules, and keep it nice... next time I won't be as gentle.

Can I apologise for my post, I was just reacting to a xenophobic post made against Quake2Rambo. No one deserves to be insulted on this forum, especially when they are trying to help (that includes me not retaliating by giving further insults).

Why doesn't the OP fill in all his tech details and try re-posting questions again and see how he gets on.

There are other specialised areas of the forum which might be a better place to post than the noob area - so have a look at where your question might best be placed.

I also have noticed more posts going unanswered lately and I wondered why. And then it struck me. I think it's because MP has reached a point where it is very stable and there are very few known issues. So the problems that are posted are those really difficult, unique situations, where a quick simple answer will just not happen. If people are still having problems at this point I think they will be hard ones to solve. Therefore it would be a natural course to find more unanswered posts as time goes on. JMO.

Also, the newcomers-forum gets buried by spam. Even when the spam threads is deleted, it is still visible for mods and other team-members, meaning that rater new posts quickly disappears to the dreaded "page two"....
