Many paytv providers require that you activate a smartcard on an encryped channel.
This means that you have to tune that channel for up to 2 hours, until the card "uppdates" and becomes active.
Currently the only way to do that is using the "preview" option inside setuptv.exe.
You can not use manual control, since TvServer will un-tune the channel if it finds out that it can not descramble it.
Chemelli recently received a new smartcard which he now also had to activate on an encrypted channel.
He confirmed that the preview window starts to play video and audio, once the card has been activated.
To enhance the useability, a new section "activate smartcard" should be created.
This section should just work as previewing a channel.
So it contains:
- option to select a channel
- "(un)tune" button
- the preview window
