most of us have some small clips of their holidays stored along with the related pictures.
currently this means that if you want to view the pictures + the small videoclips from your last holiday, then you have to switch back and forth between MyVideos and MyPictures - mostlikely with a deep foldertree.
XBMC has a nice option inside Pictures to allow the playback of videofiles as well.
Gemx allready created a 3rd party plugin to add this functionaility.

The plugin still works nicely with 1.1.0 RC1, but changes are required.
- there has to be an option added to "pictures" -> also display videos
- if this option is on, then all videoformats (extensions) as defined in MyVideos have to be working in mypictures. Currently you have to add the videoextensions manually to the picture extensions -> not good
