Currently we can have Saturday/Sunday weekends or Friday/Saturday weekends configured, but this does not cover all localities.
The region/OS can provide information about which days are weekends, so we can use this to provide a solution for all regions.
As a result of the reworks needed for this to work, EPG searching is also MUCH faster.
