To add.... same issues with 1.36 Clean Win10 x64 ('Enterprise') fresh build PC. Installed Hauppauge DVB-S card (88x drivers) Installed MP 1.36 (x64) Database login issue is as shown (see image), I did not get an option about which database to use during installation Had to uninstall and go over to use 1.36 x86 version because of the failed Hauppauge remote detection. Did not clean out at a folder level, just ran 'full uninstallation' option Still got database error except when using a single space as the database password as per 'Bitey' above (Following passwords did not work: MediaPortal, Mediaportal, mediaportal) As I am single seat (TV Server & Client same machine) may just go with this. Happy to try a couple of other options to help try things out in the short term as I have not got huge customisations. Probably unrelated but as this is an 'installations issues' thread there was also a warning about a 'deprecated installer' (pkgmgr.exe, MS bug # 195329) when installing Media Player 11 from the link given. Yet to see if there is are problems due to that (workbench & PC upstairs, satellite dish feed downstairs) but I can play videos
