I think I am getting HW acceleration because if I open Cat CCC I can see the gpu meter go move up to 50%. SO its a bit weird. Both the cpu and gpu never get stressed to the max but still its not playing smooth.Tried the win7codec pack because saf also seemed to give me subtitle problems and you are right that this works a lot better. It seems that the peformance issues I had are now mostly gone. I'll check it again tomorrow but a quick check on some scenes that didnt run well at all now seem to run good. Still a 65% cpu load and only 15 to 50% on the gpu so that is still a bit weird but atleast things seem to run better now.</blockquote>
