Hello everybody,

I'm using mediaportal for a few years now, and it works fine.

I always have some problems with full HD movies 1080p with lagg of audio that is out of sync.

But now my provider in the Netherlands Ziggo changed all the popular channels to HD, I think that's great but my mediacenter disagrees. When I watch a HD channel live than there is no problem, but when I use recording or timeshift and watch it later then there is sometimes some lag where the screen hangs for a second and continues. For codec I use the latest SAF codec pack.
And I still have the same problem with the Full HD movies in 1080p that’s lagging or the audio is out of sync.

The question is that is my system ready for a upgrade, or can I solve the problem without a hardware upgrade?
My mediacenter:

Processor: AMD Athlon X2 5050e
Motherboard: Asus M3N32-SLI de luxe
Memory: Corsair Twin2X 2GB DDR2-800 CL5 Pro
Graphics card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB DDR2
Harddisk: 3x Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB
Software: Windows XP and Mediaportal 1.1.3
TV-cards: 2x Digital Everywhere DVB-C FloppyDTV
2x Mascom CAM AlphaCrypt DVB-C

If I upgrade my system is this a good option?

Processor: AMD A6-3650
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H
Memory: 4 GB (2x 2 GB) DDR3

:D

Aside from posting your exact codec configuration (maybe just make screenshots of each tab in the mepo config), also post which exact version of SAF you are using.

I see. So do you actually use the PowerDVD codec in LiveTV, as in Hoborg's screenshots? Or do you use the Microsoft DTV/DVD Video Decoder? (For MPEG-2 and H.264 in both cases.)

// ah, you are on Windows XP, so I guess you are using the PowerDVD 11 codec.

Could be the postprocessing of your TV too.To resolve this use ffdshow audio codec from the SAF package and setup a delay for about 120ms. Should gone then.

    Succes,
