2 Bugs when recording a show that's actually running (1 Viewer)

Two bugs, maybe one issue. So I start to post both.
If I should open a new thread just jell.

When recording a show that's already running using the tvguide,
I mark the show I want to record, open context menu and hit record now.
In older versions the tvprogram-screen came up where I can set advanced options like pre and post recording time etc.

Since one of the latest SVN this screen doesn't come up anymore.

Only the same popup messageappears that comes up, when hitting the record button in TVHome asking for:
- record this show
- record until manual stop

1. go to My TV tune a channel
2. got to TVguide and mark the show that's actually running (should be automatically)
3. open context menu (right mouse click or DVD menu on MCE remote) and hit record
4. TVProgram-screen won't appear, just the small popup message

Second bug:

1. go to My TV tune a channel X
2. got to TVguide and mark a show that's actually running on channel Y
3. open context menu (right mouse click or DVD menu on MCE remote) and hit record
4. TVProgram-screen won't appear, just the small popup message
5. press record show
6. MP won't change to the show you have selected, just records the show that's in live-tv right now

No, it was definitely not. And it was a fine option.
If I would like to record the show I watching right now, I just needed to hit Record now
in TVhome and this small popup message came up.

I don't know if it's the same.
I mean when I'm watching a show, go to tvguide, choose a show that
is actually running on a different channel and hit record, using the context menu,
MP doesn't switch.

Your bug was schedule a record that's in the future watch a channel and wait 'till
MP will change the channel to record the scheduled show.-->this is working on my machine!

I think these are different issues. You think not?

you still can with context menu. right mouse click on the show you want to record or the yellow button on MCE remote will enable you to set advanced recording options.

as far as i know its caused by the same bug.

you watch channel A, mediaportal should record channel B, MediaPortal does not switch the channel, does not start to record.

i have been told that this is all caused by the internal recording event/messaging system of mediaportal, which seems to have some issues atm.
thats allready in Mantis and frodo will take care as soon as possible

Ralph, this it's working in my setup with current SVN, but i have to be in fullscreen & not in TV Guide or Scheduled recordings.
Could you test this again?

you watch channel A, mediaportal should record channel B, MediaPortal does not switch the channel, does not start to record.

this one still occurs -> Mantis 744

Bugreport Topic does not effect all TV Cards.
