2 identical tv-cards, scan each card or just one? (1 Viewer)

1. TV Card Driver: 4.5N

When I added my second card I already had a complete MP installation and the second card added fine as I can remember. Just a little channel mapping as far as I remember.

I'm planning a fresh install during the holidays and I'm wondering if I should do a separate scan on each card or just scan the first card and then map all the channels to both cards? What do you guys do?

I can't speak for Cable but I have two (not quite identical) DVB-S2 cards and I only scan on one and then associate with both. It works for me.
