2 issues - updating & playing quicktime files (1 Viewer)

hey there, im having 2 issues with MP now.
It wont seem to play HDMOV files on MP. Ive got quicktime alternative installed but it makes no difference, Media Portal loads the folder but it is empty.
Also when trying to do this new SV update, i download the new pack, copy over the files but when i then try to load MP i get an error message (which i cant read because it is behind the media portal title) and then the programme closes.
Can someone help?

Hi,

I haven't tried QuickTime HDMOVS, yet. Any link where to download? All I can say for now, if it runs in Windows Media Player, it should run in MP. Did you add the extension of those files in:
Configure->Movies->Extensions (?)

When you apply a SVN do always this after unpacking:
- run start.bat
- run Configure.exe
=> before runnning MP!

Also please only use BlueTwo as skin with SVN releases, because this one is maintained most.

with regards to the trailers i forget to add teh extensions! DOH!!!!

But as for the update i follow the steps of Start.Bat. then configure but it makes no difference
