Hi,

I'm running MediaPortal 1RC3, using the tv server (OS: win xp sp3)
Hardware:

- Hauppauge PVR-150 mce
- Hauppauge PVR-500

When watching tv, all works fine: I have a clear image and sound.
When playing recordings made by the PVR-150 however, I have a good image,
but no sound at all...

Any idea where to look to fix this issue ?

In the device manager, all devices are properly recognized and installed.
I already reinstalled all drivers (both pvr-500 as pvr-150), solely the driver
for the pvr-150 (with the drivers from hauppauge and drivers found elsewhere).
But whatever I try, nothing appears to work...

My guess is, somethings wrong with the codec configuration. I used the
mediaportal codec guide as reference (http://users.vic.chariot.net.au/~mitreski/mediaportal codec guide v.2.pdf).

Installed codecs:
ffdshow (version of end october/begin november)
haali media splitter (release 29/03/2008)

Anyone an idea what the problem can be, and where to look ?

Thanks in advance,

WBE.
