I have a 2250 dual channel hauppauge tv tuner card that i recently installed in my htpc. media portal is not picking it up however. media center however does pick it up as does the win tv program that it came with. I remember when installed mp i didn't select that i was going to watch tv with mp for at the time I didn't have a tv tuner card. is there any way that i can change that option or install the tv server so my card is picked up on mp? I do not want to have to reinstall media portal.

anything helps, thanks :D

Download and run the latest RC4 release, this has better atsc support, obviously you need to select the TV option during install, as you do not say which version of MP you are using, this may involve a clean install rather than upgrade, but if already using latest, then just re-run installer.

You cannot upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.0RC4. Instead you must do a complete uninstall and then reinstall from scratch. I appreciate that this will lose some of your settings, but at least your TV card should work :)

    Best wishes,
