3+ Hour Install for MySql during MP Install (1 Viewer)

I really love Media Portal, but is it supposed to take over 3 hours to download MySql during the install?
I started an install at 5:30 this afternoon, and by 8:30, the file download was still around 80% and stalled. By 10:00 it was still idle. I'm trying again and this tiny, 40Mb file is only 2/3 done after 1 1/2 more hours. Is there something wrong with MP servers?

That seems very slow. @high ?
Maybe best to use the installer to download the required components first, or download and install your own version of MySQL directly from MySQL's website. Any version of MySQL from 5.1 up to and including 5.6 will work.

server is fine but maybe some hickups in routing to the Try a tracert to http://install.team-mediaportal.com/ and post the results please.
As a fallback you can use http://build.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal/mysql-5.6.10-winx64.msi or http://build.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal/mysql-5.6.10-win32.msi (depending on your win-version)

For almost a week I have been seeing slower downloads from the site..

As I'm happy with SQL version running on TV Server, not down loaded MySQL5.6

Shows as of 11:10 UCT on 30/12/14 from TalkTalk UK network no issues.

Obviously this can be vary massively, hence time stamp and my routing is via Franceix where as yours is Telia - where it seems the delay kicks in as it transits 213.248/x to 80.91/x and back to 213.165/x.

Also, out if interest, down loaded 1.10 finished [about 3 mins - just over 30 mbyte/sec - as reference] and MySQL5.6 x64 from Team site [about 3 mins again at 12 mbyte/sec].
