320 x 240 skin - what works?? (1 Viewer)

I am only two weeks into trying to set up and use MP. How do I set up and use a 320x240 skin? I have a composite video output from my video card, but the video card only goes as low as 800x600 for displayed resolution. I am putting this up on a 320x240 television screen, and the letter fonts, and menus are very difficult to read.

Any help or comments is greatly appreciated!!

Change the font size in the skin you are using. If you go into /Team MediaPortal/Mediaportal/skins/BlueTwo (or whatever the folder of the skin you're using is called), edit the fonts.xml file in any text editor (notepad works great) and just change the font sizes in it.

then I have to experiment and make sure that the resulting menus do not "wrap" or "drop" off the page. Thanks for the tip.

I feel like I am repairing a specialty sports car (maybe a convertable) for my own special use.

I used the SIMPLIFY skin, and changed the font sizes in the FONTS.XML file to size 14 or larger. Now I can read the menus on my displayed television.

next bugs are getting MP not to crash when it exits playing a video, which I suppose involves experiments with SVN beta releases.

Also still trying to get OnlineVideos plugin to play FULLSCREEN by default. No word from the plugin author yet on forcing that. I can work around via using a special menu function.
