4 Random Issues Using for me in 1.2 Beta (1 Viewer)

Im running 1.2 Beta on a AMD dual core system. Currently I have a nvidia 8600 running dvi to hdmi to tv and onboard sound running optical to the receiver. Running Windows 7 32bit.

Issue 1. This has been happening even before 1.2 Beta. When I open TV Series plugin and it starts importing new files that might have been added or downloading cover art or whatever it is doing that makes the bar in the top right go back and forth. My system performance goes down the toilet. Shows will take a long time to start sometimes wont play and if they do its jumpy.

Currently I have it set to only import when I tell it to but when I do it takes quite a while to run the import. Is this just how it is or is there something I might be able to do?

Issue 2 Right now I am using SAF 6 for my codecs setup how he showed in his thread. Every once in a while I get a random MKV that just doesn't work right usually an audio problem. I would assume that this is a issue with the mkv and how it was put together. However when I play the file in VLC out of mediaportal it works fine. Should I switch to a different set of codecs? Should I just set it to use all the windows 7 codecs?

Issue 3 After updating to 1.2Beta my Harmony remote sometimes is unable to put the computer into sleep mode. Not sure why I stand right in front of the IR sensor and hit off and it doesnt do anything at all. Randomly I would say 1 of 5 though it works fine and puts it into sleep.

4th last but not least I just got a nvidia GT 430 to do hdmi video and audio to my receiver is there any special setup required for this or does it tend to just work?

Yes will be a codec issue. Use MediaInfo to identify what audio is in the files that do not work.

Do you have power scheduler enabled? What function is the button mapped to? How are you controlling you PC via the Harmony?

I have do not have power scheduler enabled. I have one of those microsoft ir receivers that I use the harmony with. I use IRSS and I have the MCE Standby tool. As for what the power button is mapped to. I have 2 buttons the main power button is suppose to put it to sleep when I press it and turn everything else off thats how I have it setup in the logitech setup. I also made another on/off button thats suppose to turn it on or sleep it if its on and I dont want to turn the other stuff off. That one is just mapped to one of the quick buttons.
