    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Please backup your videoDatabase.
    2. Start configuration > goto Movies > Movie Databse
    3. Select the tab "Scan" and click on button "Reset database".
    4. Click yes > click ok > close config by clicking ok
    5. Start MediaPortal > navigate to movies
    6. change view to actors (or genre)

Now it is not possible to change the view again.

Perhaps there should be a check that disabled the view-button when no db entry was found.

    best regards

The same happens in music, too.

Be sure you have no playlists in your playlist-folder. Go to music and click on saved playlist on the left. Now is a list focused which does not contain any items. So the focus is lost and you can not navigate to the buttons on the left side.

To go back with ESC is possible.

    Hi,
Yeah i can confirm this issue, you have to use a mouse to be able to switch view again, it should be possible with remote or keyboard too (of course ESC works) ;)

Not fixed anymore... My changes caused other problems, so now we are back where we were. I'll look at it again soon...

    :sorry:
