Hello all newbie here..

Great work everyone..

I have a few questions I hope someone could help..

I'm running MP 1.0 with moving pictures and several skins. on Windows 7.

How to change the main menu to be like it should be in the skin.. cuz I installed a skin that has a horizontal menus, but my menus are still the same as in basic skin.. only the color of MP and the pictures are different.. I even think that the layout of the whole program hasn't been change
How to put the Movies tab on the main screen alongside music and pictures tab. because I can only find it under plugins
Is it possible to navigate through a video using the seek bar like WMPlayer and other video players? cuz I'm not able to do so.

Thanks in advance

    Hi there and welcome :)

You must please be much more specific. What skin? what version? System specs? Logs? etc.

    But lets try anyway.

I installed a skin that has a horizontal menus, but my menus are still the same as in basic skin
Did you set your configuration to start with BasicHome? Most popular skins use the BasicHome menu for all the fancy bells and whistles.
Open MP Configuration, Select General, Tick Start With BasicHome
If this does not solve it, more info please. Even screenshots.

How to put the Movies tab on the main screen alongside music and pictures tab. because I can only find it under plugins
There are two menu screens. BasicHome and Home.
If you use Home, then you can just open MP Configuration, select plugins, right-click plugin and choose if you want it in Plugins or in Home.
If you use BasicHome, you have to use a skin with a basichome-menu-editor and you can create your own layout. Popolar examples include XFactor and StreamedMP. Various others as well.

possible to navigate through a video using the seek bar
Navigation is done by using skip-steps. Left/Right arrows. Fully configurable. Also Up/Down for big-steps.

    I'm running MP 1.0
If this is not a typo, you must really try MP 1.1.0

    Good luck :)

Thank you rekenaar.. that really helps..

I actually made sure that the basic home screen is disabled thinking that this would activate the skin home screen.

Its a really cool software, but I think navigation using seek bar is a must have for any video player.. at least for me since I use the mouse most of the time and rarely use the keyboard.. I hope it will be included in future releases

It actually was a typo!.. I meant to type 1.1

    Thanks again my friend.
