Hello guys,
I was originally using mediaportal with my HTPC setup and was very happy with it. I switch to media center because of the tv tuner support, but my service provider won't work with the tv tuner anymore, so I came right back to mediaportal. I didn't realize how much I missed it. Much quicker, much better fast forwarding system, blu ray play back is much simpler, etc etc...
Anyways I have a few small things that are bugging me. As for scrapping metadata, I do like how accurate moving pictures is for the most part, but there are some titles that it gets wrong. Is there a way to get metadata on my laptop and change things manually other than having to open mp config on my HTPC and do it? I was using metabrowser to get metadata for both tv series and movies, is it possible to still use this and have mediaportal display the metadata?
The other plus was that it stores all of the metadata on my server. Does moving pictures save it to the source's folder? I hadn't noticed...Also is it similar style to XBMC metadata format? If so then I could probably use metabrowser...
And one last thing, I forget how to have the weather display on the home screen.
Thanks
