Yes, I did try that, and I just got confused and turned off. In fact, I've revisited it several times, and it's not grown on me, and I consider myself a rather advanced user of MP. Sorry, but it's 2009 now, things should have evolved. I realize things will look hotter in MediaPortal 2, but meanwhile, let's just get a plugin to hotten things up a bit, as it'll be a while until we get that going. For anyone that wants to just start using MediaPortal for the first time and have everything presented nicely (look at MP TV-Series) without more configuration than hdd locactions, they'll surely stick to iTunes, Winamp or whatever they used in the past for their music playback. In fact, what if the music section was EXACTLY like MP TV-Series? Series = Artist Season = Album Episode = Track Episode Plot = Lyrics On each startup of the music plugin, the importer will look for changes and ask the user to verify any discrepancies (similarly named artists/bands), perhaps showing a picture of the artists available, or genre to help getting the correct information UNLESS everything fits to the filtering of the plugin, then the import will be running silently in the background. Fanart and album covers can be chosen with the remote etc. Well, how about you make a little guide (with screen dumps) on how to set everything up, and I will gladly try it. But for all the NEW users of MediaPortal, is this really user friendly enough? Emph
