Everyone here from europe probably know what I'm talking about:
STB w/SCART out - to tv-card with s-video in --> ok picture, but never as good as STB connected directly. (Also, some STB does a D/A-convertion - which later is converted A/D by TV-card. Using a CRT (or LCD/plasma with only analouge) makes another D/A-convertion.

I thought the SweetSpot RGB-capture device would be the answer, but this is SW-based and not working with MP ATM (from last post on the issue).

Great idea - isn't it? On the downside, it's rather expensive....

Any ideas weather this is supported by MP?
