Are you kidding? I've made a prenaptual aggrement with my wife that includes only the htpc (my daughter is a little geek too, so she goes where the htpc goes
).

Well, there has to be something wrong with me...
Whenever MP has been working well for some time and the WAF has gone up, that is a good time to start tweaking it and (no surprise) spend a few nights to get things working again.

, but it does not take a few nights, more like a hour, I've reinstalled everything that often LOL.I still haven't updated my LivingRoom client to MP 1.0 because I haven't had time in my calendar to schedule two days afterwards for potentiel headscratching and problem-solving when something isn't working. I don't think it will be needed anymore (the releases have gotten really stable), but just incase. I can go a max of 2 days without the HTPC not working, before my girlfriend starts seriously thinking about throwing it out the windows - litterally

This used to happen to me too.
But if you have a good working vervion, just create a ghost image.
When you install new thing to MP and it FCKS up your system [it always happens, doesn't it], you can go back to a good working version in 15 min.
In this case the wife doesn't have to leave you.
