One thing I liked about the MCE2005 frontend was the system tray icon which showed when TV recording(s) were active & being able to cancel them without having to go into the programme to stop them. Having to enter MP>MyTV>Schedules & click on the active stream you wish, then click 'stop recording' is pretty convoluted.
It would be good to go one step further: an ability to cancel an individual recording. ie. to right-click on the record icon, in the system tray, & click on the recording you wish to stop, whilst leaving any other ones active. Also, a 'stop all' option would be nice.
