i don't speak German, so i don't know if it's the right place to post this... anyway...
I was searching for "DVB software" in google, and i went to the gpl license violations site where you guys talk about violations that DVBViewer do, of Media Portal source.
I just want to say i thing. Open Source software will always have problems like that, or worst, how can you tell me the Windows parts don't use, or are based, or are inspired, in linux kernel?
So i just want to tell every open source software programmers, like you, this:
When Open-Source and Closed-Source cohabit, the one that loses is open source, so instead of develop software for Windows, that don't deserve that, develop software for OS's like Linux, BSD's.
Like Virtual Dub, a excellent video editing software, released under GPL, but just available for Windows... and even "better", his own developers were obbligated to remove .ASF and .WMV support cause of a Patent owning in USA, by Microsoft.
Windows deserve Open Source? I don't think so
Now the question is, the users deserve it, course...
My suggestion, open source for open source OS's, closed source for closed source OS's
...
