About the new MP conception (1 Viewer)

Hi allz!

I have before two days the new MP RC1 install, but what i get: the cannot create graph to this device.

New drivers install, capturecards definitions edit but nothing. Before two days i feel me lucky i have no problem with the MP.

First time in 2006, after my first MP install i get the cannot create graph message. I have bad tv card pinnacle..... later I go to the pc shop i buyed the avermedia m150 card. Best buy card with hw mpeg2: no more error, fast, i have good picture....I have helped in the Hungarian Localization on the MP, if i good know im the first.

1 year later i buyed better card the hauppage hvr-1300, no errors, better picture.

But what is my problem, because i have one good 0.2.3 version? i get no more support to this...

Another question is, while is MP 0.2.3 removed, because this is stable version, without to many errors....what is good in this?

I see the forums, im not the only one with tuner problem, but exist another users (with 0.2.3) this users dont know at this time about this new MP, after these users install the new MP, the developers get another unsupported tuner, please help me message. But before this,: where is the tv tuner add option in configuration....

I dont know what makes the developers, in previous version working many tv tuners, in the new not. I have to old tv card....I hope not. I see this is two fast change.

In my opinion if the developers dont cant import the ,,older'' tuner cards, dont remove the 0.2.3 version, and give support to this. I dont know what need the users, but if i good see 85% of the MP users dont need the server option, these users need only the working 0.2.3 MP. If dont make this, MP loose to many users. Here in my country, in Hungary we have these hauppague cards 150,250 and the 1300 hybrid, or the unsupported pinnacle software cards and we have at this time no dvb-t and another digital channels, this is future feature...4-5 year later.


If dont have anybody idea, what can i make, i go back the older 0.2.3 without no more support?

Which TV engine are you using - the built-in one (TVE2) or the client-server one (TVE3) ?

Which TV card does not work (you mention 3 different cards above) ?

Ronilse say me, i have problem with the driver, (but i have removed the old and i have try new driver), another idea from me editing the capturecard xml, but finaly i dont have my tv card. In the old version working perfect.

I have the same problem.
After installation MP 1.0.0. RC1 I can't use my TV Tuner (Pinnacle PCTV 310i DVB-T)
For the previous release (0.2.3.0) I just added the graph to the "capyurecarddefenition".
But now it is not possible - MP 1.0.0. daesn't use this file!

How to manage it?

If you uninstall TVServer\client from add\remove programs, you will get access to the old TVEngine.

DVB-T should work fine with TVServer, did you delete the whole of your mediaportal install, including settings, prior to installing new one, as chances are that has affected your new setup.

First of all, I didn't have the TVServer installed before changing release.
And I don't want to use it now.

Beforу installinf RC1 I uninstalled previous release 0.2.3.0. by using uninstall programm and I asked the programme to save all my settings (all configuration files are now on the disk).

Under such conditions the TV-card doesn't work in 1.0.0. RC1

Can anybody give me a tip what I have to do?

You are not the first and the last have trouble with the new Mp 1.0 RC1. I have two tv tuner avermedia m150 and hauppague hvr-1300 both of this cards get error if i want add in the new MP configuration. From configuration i get after adding cards Two times the unique Cannot creat graph for this device , after this and after two Ok, i see the tuner cards, but this is not good, i cant use with this error.

I see many user use the older Mp 0.2.3, little later after version change this users write here in the forum.

Something is missing in the new MP 1.0 Rc1, but the developers says nothing missing. Or the MP use read configs not only from xml, from another place registry...

Interesting thing:

I copyed another place the older 0.2.3 Mp to another place before i install the new MP Rc1 and this is very interesting, i run this older version and i can use my tv cards.

Developers:
Same PC, two directorys, original install place with RC1, older version copyed to anyother place, first dont working, second (0.2.3) working so this is not my drivers failed, not the updates missing, this is MP error.

This is meant for a clean installation, the only success i have had was restoring my previous moviedabase and thumbs folder, after that everything configured new.
