AC3 + S/PDIF cause not possible to play video (1 Viewer)

I had the same issue as above. Today I reinstalled the following:

PowerDVD 8;
AC3 Filter;
Haali Media Splitter;
MP RC1;
FFDSHOW;
CoreAVC;
VSFilter;

All the above are the latest versions released, the problem has been fixed .

been going at this fo rsome time with no luck, not done power dvd yet as been holding off but i have suspected its the dvd codec thats needed. would have thought MP or FFDShow would have had it tho. will try and post back
