Hi,
I've been using MediaPortal for some time now without any problems, and I really enjoy it.
But now I have a problem, that I can't find a solution for:

I would like to add some m3u8 links as IPTV channels - the links works fine in VLC, but Media Portal TV server says "no signal" when scanning for the channels.

One of the links is : http://dr03-lh.akamaihd.net/i/dr03_0@147056/master.m3u8

Is it a missing feature of MediaPortal, or can someone help me?

Thanks in advance
Log is attached.

    Hello and welcome! :)

Is it a missing feature of MediaPortal, or can someone help me?
Internet video streams are not supported. If you want to use the IPTV filter then the stream type must be either HTTP, RTSP, RTP or UDP, and the stream format must be an MPEG 2 transport stream. Most internet video streams are not in that format so cannot work.

Thanks for your answer - of course is was not what i was hoping for :)
I'm am currently using MediaPortal to view IPTV from my ISP via a UDP stream, this works like a charm - but is the stream from the m3u8 file different?

Is it possible to use another IPTV filter that supports the stream? I mean if VLC can play the stream, perhaps the filter can be modified so it is supported?

    Thanks in advance.
