Hello everyone, I'm just trying to see if this is possible. I want two categories, 'My Videos' which is already there, and 'My Television Shows'. I just want 'my videos' to have the movies I've ripped, and I would like a separate 'my television shows' for my tv episodes that I've ripped. Is this possible?

Thanks for any help

-Nick

Current version does not support customized menus.

Maybe a directory structure like below will have to do in the mean time:
    My Videos
    -- Movies
    -- TV Shows

OK, just add both locations to the Movie Folder list:
    - Open MP Configuration
    - Go to movies
    - Go to Movie Folders
    - Add the folder for Movies
    - Add the folder for TV Shows

Rekenaar, MP Config will only let me choose one folder at a time.. which I think is kind of weird. So that probably wouldnt' work for me.

Piranha, I'll try this plugin as soon as my son's done watching his cartoon. Also, how do I use a file with .MPI?

    Thanks,

You can have loads of folders in MP config. I suspect what you are experiencing is that you don't unselect the tick box that opens one of the folders as default. Having that box ticked for any of the folders will open that one as default in MP.

You should have the MP Installer in your MediaPortal directory.
    c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPInstaller.exe

and icon in your MediaPortal start menu (either as MPInstaller or Media Portal Extension Installer).
From there go to Extension Manger and click "Load Online List" and select plugin.
Other choice is to download mpi file and use the option "Install Extension" from main screen.
I recommend reading the plugin forum, there is lots of optional functionality that you may want to configure.

Thanks Darre, that's exactly what I was doing.. so that works now. But wow, I really do love the Mp Tv Series, it's so clean... I only wish I didnt' have to click 'my plugins' and then 'my tv series.' I really dont' care that I have to click my plugins to get there, I was trying to make it as easy as possible for the wife and kid.

    Thanks a lot guys!

    Which skin are you using?
The Xface skin have a convenient link for TV series from the basic home page. Maybe you should try it?
