I've been using MP for 1,5 years and have always enjoyed it's TV recording and playback capabilities. I really hadn't used it for playing audio CD's, but since my good old stand alone CD player died on me I'm trying to make the switch.
In general all is well with autoplay, CDDB lookups and everything. But I do have some copyrighted CD's that just don't work. Some play a for a few seconds and some don't play at all. I blame the el cheapo optical drive - hey, just 15 euro's, what can go wrong?
Does anyone have experience with flawless playback of audio cd's released by EMI and such? And if so, what brand & type of optical drive do you have? Thanks for the tips!
