Something changed now. I have a curious new issue now that my new TV can do 24p. With Aero on i get perfect picture with 24p(23.976) blu ray rips and mkv's. Im using CoreAVC 2.0, SAF 5 09172010 version with Halli Matroskasplitter installed for my blu ray stuff. With Aero off i get tearing on 24p media. When i play tv channels (DVB-T) it uses MPEG2 at 50Hz. With Aero on i get tons of lost frames and the picture judders like crazy and its very unwatchable. With Aero off i get lots of lost frames...but everything looks PERFECT. Strange eh? The codec used for video is DTV Video Decoder. What would be great is if i could force aero on for TS files(50hz) and off for everything else. Any idea how i do this? ive found some more info about the tearing effects when aero is off detailed in this thread and the quick hack MP uses to mainly fix it ill try futher on alexirion's post when i get home https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-1-1-0-rc-1-2-496/windows-aero-really-needed-proper-vsync-82090/ also... theres an option in the dynamic refreshrate changer built into MP that allows u to execute an external command when switching between refresh rates..if any1 has an idea what i should put there to switch between aeo/non-aero themes in that external action field it would be appreciated : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-1-talk-45/automatic-refreshrate-changer-44338/index104.html#post659139
