I do not know if this happens for anyone else, but thought I would let you know. This mediaportal CVS I have running hangs when i try to shot down mediaportal and sometimes the configuration. For instance. If I hit close or the X to close media portal the process is still running and I cannot kill the task no matter what I do until I reboot. The cofiguration is the same way but worse.
