I just started using MediaPortal this weekend after checking out a few other HTPC software. Very impressed with what I've experienced so far. Couple of questions that I can't seem to find on the forum or in the online manual.
1) I have all of my MP3's on another networked computer. All of them are in /Albums/Artist - Album name/*.mp3. All of the mp3's have the album artwork embedded inside the mp3's themselves. In the configurator, I have folder.jpg and cover art embedded in ID3 Tags checked. When the scan has been completed, I see the listings of the albums that it found and all of the songs like I would expect. I don't see any album art found. I've tried deleting the thumbs/music folders and removing the musicdatabase and rescanning, but it never finds anything.
2) I started using Streamed MP skin and was able to import my movies with coverart and fanart as well as successfully play them. I then wanted to try the Aeon Wide skin. I downloaded the skin and copied it into the skins directory and selected it in the configurator. When I started it, I was missing all of the movies that I saw in the Streamed MP skin. Is there something else I'm missing?
