My Album covers appear to have the corrrect aspect ratio when displayed in the lower left of the Playlist, but when I switch to "Now playing", it is displyed horizontally compressed (on the right). Since I have a 15:9 screen, I am using th BlueTwo wide skin. How can I get the correct aspect ratio in "Now Playing"?
P.S.
After examining this more closely, it seems to behave quite unpredictably. At least one folder.jpg, which is nearly square (200x198) appears horizontally squished in both playlist and Now Playing. In the playlist's square frame, it has black bars filling the left and right margins.
Another folder.jpg, which is exactly square (240x240), appears vertically squished in the album list with white bars above & below. What is responsible for this weird behaviour, and how can I correct it?
P.P.S.
Meanwhile, I noticed that the XML files for "BlueTwo wide" have:
<width>1366</width>
<height>768</height>
in many places and thought that the scaling to my screen resolution of 1280x768 might be responsible for the "squishing".
Unfortunately, substituting
<width>1280</width>
for
<width>1366</width>
left the frames for the album covers unchanged. Instead, the display became asymmetrical, "falling off" the right hand edge of the screen (presumably truncated at 1280 pixels).
Both the small frame in the lower left corner of the playlist view and the frame in the upper right of "now playing" (attached) are still significantly taller than wide. ALbum covers, whether CD or LP are (nearly) square. How can I fix this? Who else is seeing something like this?
P.P. S. Situation improved: see this thread for details.
