album icons in artist or folder view (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I was wondering if MP currently supports displaying album icons in the artist or folder view. I have my library organized as Music -> Artist -> Album -> Song.

I'd like to see images of the first four albums in a folder or for an artist instead of a folder image. Just like windows does when you view a folder that contains images in the thumbnail view.

Is there a way to do that right now?

you need to put a folder.jpg file with the desired album art in each folder.

That's not really comfortable at all. Did anyone else ever miss that feature and write a simple plugin?

Anyhow, to me that sounds more like a standard feature MP really should have.
