Alternative to Audioscrobbler (1 Viewer)

Hello Folks,

I am looking for an alternative method to auto-add tracks to my playlist without using last.fm.
I just don't like the idea to publish my personal musical taste.
As well I do not want my music collection to be stored in some unreliable place on the internet.

So, Is there a way to just have MP add tracks to my playlist based on genre tags?
Or else, is there some alternative that works locally?

Any hint would be greatly appreciated.
