Hey all, just wondering if any one had an idea of what I could use now instead of Joost, seeing that they are closing their doors to a software client (which I think is insane, seeing where HTPC's are going)

It just really sucks, got my Joost working great with both my remotes, and as far as I can tell after weeks of searching can not find any thing that comes close.. There are obviously a lot of websites that offer good content, but there is no way to rig this up to a remote with the same TV feel that Joost gave you...

God knows why they are killing their client.. This whole lets build everything into a browser goes completely against HTPC concepts... AARRGG me very angry..

So yeah has any one got any ideas, Boxee looks good, but is not out yet, Miro does not support keyboard support so yeah I'm completely stuck, this is why onlinevideos needs to be updated, could be a brilliant plugin if well developed.

Thanks all

It's really a pitty streaming video is that hard te reach trough MP, would be wonderfull if there was a way to get streaming video intergrated in MP.

Would be nice if it was like in Myprograms where you can tweak the plugin to launch any program in the way you want, but then a pluging that you can tweak to show the videos from the site of your liking.

I found something that i thougt had potential, but i wasnt able to get it working smootly yet, can launch it trouch Myprograms in IE and command it trough RemoteKC with my remote, but that doesnt really give the MP feel.

It was on this site Paul Yanez

it would be great to be able to play the ".swf" files trough MP Videos, i have bien playing around with it, but i havent bien able to get it to working.
